CPI

In addition to the policy analysis and support we provide through our regional offices, CPI also provides support to policymakers in other regions.

In Indonesia, we are working with the national REDD+ taskforce to develop a financial mechanism to efficiently and effectively allocate REDD funds from the $1bn Norway-Indonesia Partnership. We are also working with national and provincial governments in Indonesia to develop institutional frameworks to support green growth, using learnings from past experience and state of the art practice on land use improvements and land tenure conflict resolution.

In India, we partner with the Indian School of Business’ Energy and Environment Program on policy effectiveness analysis. A current project reviews the impact of policy on the cost and availability of finance for renewable projects in India. CPI will open an office in India in 2012.
