The 29th Session of Cities on the Frontline, jointly organized by Resilient Cities Network & the World Bank, will focus on “Financing the Recovery” to share knowledge to help cities respond and plan for recovery with resilience. As cities focus on recovering from the pandemic, there is a need to address the long-term resilience challenges that cities face, as well as infrastructure and service deficiencies that the pandemic has exposed. In that context, it is critical to understand how cities could address the increasing financial gaps that they are currently burdened with.

CPI Project Manager Priscilla Negreiros of the Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance will be joined by Roland White, Global Lead for City Management, Finance and Governance, World Bank, Kamal Kishore, Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure India, , and Michael Koupkas, Deputy Mayor of Finance & Chief Resilience Officer, City of Thessaloniki.
