Amanda Schutze holds a PhD in Economics from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), a Master’s degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (EPGE/FGV-RJ) and a bachelor degree in Economics from PUC-Rio. She has been a lecturer in economics of the public sector at PUC-Rio since 2013. Amanda’s research focuses on the energy sector. Previously, she worked for El Paso Energy and Enron South America. She currently examines how Brazil can increase its energy mix to help the country achieve its climate goals.
