Cooper Wetherbee is an Analyst at Climate Policy Initiative, based in San Francisco. He supports several projects as a member of CPI’s climate finance team, including performing research and data management for the biannual Global Landscape of Climate Finance and providing continuing support to participants in the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance beyond the initial Lab cycle. Cooper has extensive experience in renewable energy policy, electric utility regulation and business models, financial modeling, and stakeholder engagement facilitation. Prior to joining CPI, he worked in ICF’s commercial energy consulting practice, specializing in wholesale markets and distributed energy resources. Cooper holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Environmental Sciences from Northwestern University.
