Senior Analyst, Energy Finance
Saarthak Khurana is a Senior Analyst with the Energy Finance team and is based in CPI’s Delhi office, where his work focuses on developing solutions for a flexible, low carbon energy system and market design. Prior to joining CPI, Saarthak spent four years working in the Indian power utility sector with Tata Power where he worked as a part of the Strategy and Corporate Planning team driving the competitor and market intelligence initiatives as well as developing and maintaining the long term financial plans for the organisation. In his additional capacity as a Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM) certified assessor, he also undertook Business Excellence assessments for other Tata Group companies.
Saarthak has an MBA in Power Management from National Power Training Institute (NPTI) Faridabad, under the Ministry of Power of the Government of India. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronic and Communication Engineering from Indraprastha University, Delhi.
Saarthak joined CPI to work on the Energy Finance team’s flexibility programme, focusing on a project co-led by the Energy Transitions Commission India and The Energy and Resources Institute in India.
