Udetanshu is a Consultant with CPI’s Energy Finance team in London. Prior to joining CPI, Udetanshu spent over 12 years in the energy, utilities and renewables sector, first as an M&A and financing Investment Banker with HSBC, Credit Suisse and Barclays over a span of 10 years and then as a funding and strategy Consultant working on projects with the Energy Systems Catapult and the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) in the UK.
Udetanshu has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow in India and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi.
Udetanshu focuses on CPI Energy Finance’s programmes on the decarbonisation of power and financial innovation to lower the cost of capital for renewable energy assets, following on from last year’s work on the Clean Energy Investment Trust. She co-leads the flagship project to develop a flexible, low‐carbon electricity system with the Energy Transitions Commission (ETC) India in collaboration with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) in India, and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in the US.
