Manika Gupta is a Climate Finance Fellow at CPI, based in Delhi. This fellowship is an IREX supported partnership aimed to address the urgent talent needs in the energy transition sector. Her work is focused on developing innovative financing solutions to enable and catalyse the low carbon transition in India.
Prior to CPI, Manika worked with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as a technical expert on policies of multilateral development banks (MDBs). She has also previously worked with the NITI Aayog and Ministry of Finance, India and thus, possesses extensive knowledge of the current development finance landscape.
An alumna of TERI University, holding a master’s degree in economics (with a specialization in energy and resource economics), Manika is passionate about designing inclusive policies to address the climate crisis equitably.
