Alice Murfitt is a Program Associate at CPI, based in London. She oversees the overall program management of ClimateShot Investor Coalition (CLIC) Agrifood Investment Connector. Prior to CPI, she interned at Climate Action, where she worked on the Agri-Food Systems Summit held during COP28.

Alice holds a Master’s in Environment and Sustainable Development from UCL, where she primarily focused on sustainable food systems in the context of the global South. Her thesis analysed the contributions of informality for improving food accessibility within urban food systems, where she received an award of commendation from The Bartlett Development Planning Unit. While at UCL, Alice conducted research in a developing economies context in Mwanza, Tanzania, focusing on the uncaptured value of treating faecal sludge as manure for sustainable urban agricultural practices.
