Angel Jacob leads communications for CPI’s Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance (CCFLA), a multi-stakeholder platform for cooperation, partnerships, and advocacy in the field of urban and subnational climate finance. Previously, Angel led the climate finance division in Asia, where she managed all publicity and strategic outreach for the teams. Her responsibilities included writing, editing, and review of all analysis, targeted at multiple global audiences. Additionally, she also developed and conducted integrated external communications strategies through media outreach to top-tier business, financial and social media.
Prior to this, Angel worked with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) as a Communication Consultant under the project titled Umbrella Programme for Natural Resource Management (UPNRM). She has a Masters in Sociology and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Political Science from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University.
Angel is part pf CPI’s Washington DC team but works remotely from Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Canada.
