On May 16, 2018 Climate Policy Initiative’s Dhruba Purkayastha attended the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Workshop Engagement with CSOs and NGOs in New Delhi, co-organised by LCLEI.

The workshop was comprised of a presentation on AIIB’s work and progress in India, a briefing on AIIB’s 2018 Annual Governors’ Meeting and an interactive session creating a platform for discussion and recommendations from CSOs and NGOs.

AIIB is a multilateral development bank striving to improve social and economic outcomes in Asia. Local Governments for Sustainability South Asia is a regional network of local government trying to achieve tangible improvement in global sustainability through local initiatives.
