This annually-held event aims at fostering knowledge-sharing and discussion on key climate change issues aimed at contributing to low-carbon development and climate resilience on a global scale. It will be carried out in a conference-style setting with international high-level speakers from both the public and the private sector.

CPI Senior Analyst Gloria Coleman will speak during the session, “Climate Finance – paving the way for the private sector”.

Financing provided by or through the private sector will be key to meet international climate finance commitments and to reach the 2 degree target. This session will provide an overview of different approaches on how provide sector actors can be brought on board to reduce emissions and increase climate resilience.
