Stewart J. Paperin is Managing Partner of LeopardRock Property Group in Manhattan Beach, California. Mr. Paperin has spent more than 35 years as a senior international financial executive in both publicly traded and private companies and has served as a member on the board of directors for the Western Union Corporation, PennOctane Corporation, Global TeleSystems Group, Inc., Golden Telecom Inc., Armour Residential  Reit, JMI Reit and OAO Svyazinvest (Russia’s national telephone company), as well as a variety of emerging Internet and telecommunication companies and public-private partnerships. Mr. Paperin is also President Emeritus of Soros Economic Development Fund and served as Executive Vice President of the Soros Foundations for 18 years.

Mr. Paperin earned BA and MS degrees from the State University of New York at Binghamton. He was also awarded the Doctor of Humane Letters degree by the State University of New York.
