Anup Kumar Samal is an Analyst at CPI’s Delhi Office, where his work focuses on Carbon Markets, Just Transitions, and the Decarbonization of PSUs. His responsibilities include detailed assessments of GHG emissions of the Indian PSUs, Evolution of Carbon markets (Article 6), and finance flows for Just transitions.
Prior to CPI, Anup worked as a Research Officer at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and focused on carbon markets, climate-induced vulnerabilities, and forest governance projects. He holds a Master’s degree in Climate Change and Sustainability Studies from TISS-Mumbai with a strong background in Mathematics.
