The aim of this discussion, hosted by IHRB and The African Climate Foundation and in partnership with the Ford Foundation, is to explore the role international ESG standards and benchmarks can and should play in advancing greater quality control within and between developing transition financial frameworks. Sustainable Finance Integrity Advisory Council

CPI will host this invite-only roundtable session with members of our Sustainable Finance Integrity Advisory Council. The conversation will cover the opportunities and challenges for sustainable finance integrity within the current international financial architecture and macroeconomic conditions. Banking on Cities: How to boost private investment in green urban infrastructure?

Initiated by the German Federal Government at the United Nations Secretary General’s Climate Action Summit in 2019, and hosted by the Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance (CCFLA), the Leadership for Urban Climate Investment (LUCI) is a framework that tracks the contribution of 23 champion initiatives to closing the urban climate finance gap.
This event, hosted by CCFLA, will bring major private institutions and LUCI initiatives together to discuss how to scale financing mechanisms for urban climate infrastructure projects.
Financing the Transition: How to Decarbonize the Global Economy

Lab Endorsement Meeting

At this invite only event, the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance (the Lab) will launch new innovative finance solutions to drive private resources to climate action in developing economies.
The Lab identifies, develops, and launches innovative finance instruments that can drive billions in private investment to action on climate change and sustainable development. Since 2014, the Lab has launched 62 solutions that have mobilized over USD 3.5 billion to address climate change.
Amazon Economics

This two-part event, hosted by CPI and Columbia University, will comprise an academic session that will discuss the role of the Amazon and how reforestation can be a cost-effective solution to capturing significant carbon emissions; and a policy session that will uncover innovative solutions through public policy to combat deforestation and protect the native vegetation of the Amazon Forest to reduce its tipping point.
