Alfred Sloley is an Analyst at CPI, based in London, where he works within CPI’s Climate Finance Tracking team. He is currently leading CPI’s work under the ‘Mobilising Sustainable Finance for Methane Abatement’ project with Climate Bonds Initiative. He also works across both regional and sectoral research projects, including the Landscape of Climate Finance in Africa and the Clean Air Fund’s State of Global Air Quality Funding.

Prior to joining CPI, Alfred spent 6 years at Oxford Policy Management delivering global development programmes covering climate finance and policy, financial sector development and peacebuilding. He has provided embedded technical assistance to commercial banks, FinTechs, and national NGOs across Ghana, South Sudan, Tanzania and Zambia and has worked with the Government of Indonesia on the mainstreaming of low carbon development.

He holds an MSc with Distinction in Ecological Economics from the University of Leeds.
