Mairéad Barron is an Analyst at Climate Policy Initiative’s London office, where she is a member of the Climate Finance Tracking team. Her work focuses on tracking and analyzing global climate finance needs and designing innovative mechanisms to align them with current flows.

Before joining CPI, Mairéad worked as an Analyst with McKinsey & Company in London. There, she contributed to a flagship report on global investment needs for Net Zero alignment, as well as a range of other client projects related to climate finance and sustainable investment.

Mairéad holds an MSc in Environmental Economics and Climate Change from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Economics and Finance from University College Dublin.
