Climate action is an imperative for the growth and sustainable development of countries in Sub-Saharan Africa – but climate financing needs and gaps loom large. The first generation of CCDRs
in Africa reaffirmed that the scale of climate financing to support climate smart development towards low carbon climate resilient trajectories is significant.
