Climate Policy Initiative, along with selected players in Indian sustainable finance, convened in Colaba, Mumbai to take part in the CAFRAL Program on Sustainable Finance on Thursday, June 14, 2018.

Dhruba Purkayastha, Director of  US-India Clean Energy Finance (USICEF), was the keynote speaker in a presentation on Sustainable Finance: Global outlook, on June 18, 2018.

Dhurba addressed the following points of information:

• the role the financial system plays in sustainability,
• an examination of  the current standards of ESG in finance
• the sustainability regulation on finance
• the assessment of non-financial risks and impacts on projects
