While the built environment has a mature environmental, social, governance (ESG) ecosystem to inform transition plans, there are large inconsistencies in the application of metrics and standards from different actors. This confusion risks sending investors in the wrong direction. But the consequences of financial inaction are insurmountable. In this session, we will delve into the challenges and solutions of aligning building entity and asset level schemes to uphold transparency, contextualisation, accountability and comparability. Through dynamic discussions we’ll showcase how to connect global ambitions with local action, ensuring finance can flow to where it is needed most.
