Our work in Central Kalimantan has gained more traction through our formal involvement as a member of the team to develop the province’s regional action plan on greenhouse gases emissions reduction (RAD-GRK). CPI Project Manager based in Palangka Raya, Darianus Tarigan, was officiated as a Land Use team member as stated on Decree no. 97/ 2018 issued on June 25 by the Head of Research and Development (Balitbang), Central Kalimantan Development Planning Agency (Bappeda).

Along with PILAR Foundation, we will represent non-government institutions in the team. Led by Bappeda, the team’s responsibilities include monitoring, evaluation and reporting land use-related activities in the province. CPI and PILAR look forward to this collaborative work.
