The Third Global Conference on Strengthening Synergies between the Paris Agreement on Climate Change and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development will take place on 20-21 July at the United Nations University in Tokyo, Japan, in a hybrid format, with both in-person and virtual participation.
Climate and SDG synergies and co-benefits can only be sufficiently realized if policy makers from all sectors accord these issues high political priority. A better understanding of these co-benefits in national, regional and global contexts can spur more deliberate action and collaboration towards realizing them.
As part of this two-day conference, CPI’s Baysa Naran will be speaking on a panel on Overcoming Barriers: Financing, Technology and Innovation.
