The Climate and Sustainable Finance Week 2021 will take place on Monday, October 4th, from 13h30 to 14h30 (São Paulo Time).
CPI/PUC-Rio’s Program Director, Natalie Hoover El Rashidy, will join the session Appropriation of Sustainable Climate Finance Taxonomies in the Public and Private Sectors. The Director will present the results of the first mapping that quantifies climate finance flows for the agricultural and forestry sectors in the country, developed by the organization.
The expert will discuss the results that will be presented on the role of agricultural policy, public budget, financial and capital markets, rural insurance and international public financing for the climate finance agenda, and its challenges for the Brazilian context.
