Alastair Mayes is a Program Associate at CPI for the Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance (CCFLA), based in London.

Before joining CPI, Alastair worked for Frontiers Media as a Journal Manager for the peer-reviewed journals Frontiers in Sustainable Cities and Frontiers in Sustainable Tourism, working closely with academic leaders to establish leading open-access platforms for research in these areas.

Alastair Mayes has also worked for the Zoological Society of London researching the impacts of climate change in East Africa. Alastair holds a Master’s degree from King’s College London in Climate Change: Environment, Science, and Policy and a Bachelor’s Degree from Durham University in Natural Sciences.
