Costanza is a Manager based in Climate Policy Initiative’s London office, where she leads CPI’s work on climate finance needs and roadmaps, which aims to assess the size of the funding gap in different sectors and regions, and identify financial actors, types of finance and priority interventions needed to mobilize climate finance in different markets. As part of the Tracking team, Costanza also leads and contributes to various global, sectoral, and thematic analyses, including IRENA/CPI’s Global Landscape of Renewable Energy Finance reports, CPI’s flagship Global Landscape of Climate Finance series, Clean Air Fund’s State of Global Air Quality Funding analyses, and the International Development Finance Club (IDFC)’s Green Finance Mapping exercise.
Prior to CPI, Costanza worked at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), where she led analytical work on renewable energy and energy transition finance and the assessment of NDC renewable energy pledges under the Paris Agreement. She also worked at the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), supporting renewable energy project preparation and implementation.
She is a certified expert in Climate, Renewable Energy and Sustainable Finance with the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and holds a Master’s in Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology from Bocconi University, Milan.
