Debal Mitra is a Senior Manager based at CPI’s New Delhi office, primarily focusing on research, project preparation and transaction advisory, and program management across green finance and industrial decarbonization.

Debal comes with over 20 years of experience across varied domains of research, advisory, credit rating, and finance, including analytical work on multiple sectors like energy, infrastructure, and natural resources, and experience in project finance and structuring. Prior to joining CPI, he worked at ICRA, CARE Ratings, Feedback Infra, and HSBC.

Debal holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Calcutta.
