Giovanna de Miranda is Communications and Program Manager at CPI/PUC-Rio, where she manages CPI’s project portfolio and communications efforts in Brazil, coordinating research and implementing communications and program strategies.
She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and a CAS degree in Conflict Resolution from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, where she received a full scholarship as a University Fellow. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from PUC-Rio.
Giovanna has experience in public policy, having worked with gender equality, development and security. Before joining CPI/PUC-Rio, Giovanna worked as a Program Officer for Make Every Woman Count, conducting research on women’s rights in Africa and managing advocacy campaigns. Giovanna has also worked for the Fund for Peace and the Igarapé Institute conducting research on gender-based violence and conflict resolution.
