Maddy Taylor is a Junior Analyst at CPI, based in London. As part of the Climate Finance Tracking team, Maddy is working on the next iteration of the Net Zero Finance Tracker.

Before working at Climate Policy Initiative, Maddy worked as a research assistant in the Finance for Systemic Change Centre at the University of Cambridge. There she produced analysis on the progress of asset owners in incorporating climate strategies into their fixed income investments, as well as worked on the design of a corporate bond index excluding energy companies and financial actors contributing to fossil fuel expansion.

Maddy holds an MSc in Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. She also holds an BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Manchester.
