Priscila Souza is Head of Policy Evaluation at CPI/PUC-Rio, focusing on Financial Instruments. At CPI/PUC-Rio, her main research areas are: local impacts of large investments and rural credit in Brazil. Priscila is also co-leader of the Green Finance Task Force of Brazilian Coalition on Climate, Forests and Agriculture.
Priscila holds a PhD, an M.Phil. and an M.A. in Economics from Yale University, an M.A. in Economics from Getúlio Vargas Foundation (EPGE/FGV-RJ) and a B.A. Magna Cum Laude in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
Prior to joining CPI/PUC-Rio, Priscila was an Assistant Professor at the Toulouse School of Economics, as the deputy-director at Advanced Research in Quantitative Applied Development Economics (Arqade), a member of the Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse (IAST) and an economist of the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES).
