Qasem Bilbeisi is a Senior Analyst at Climate Policy Initiative, based in London. Leveraging his expertise in finance and investments to support the development of innovative climate finance solutions, Qasem works with the ClimateShot Investor Coalition (CLIC)  team, aiming to scale investments in climate and nature-positive solutions. His responsibilities encompass connecting climate finance investors with high-impact agrifood businesses in developing countries and guiding SMEs and preparing them for investor pitching and due diligence processes.

Prior to joining CPI, Qasem cultivated a diverse background in deal and transaction advisory at EY and KPMG. In these roles, he played a key role in advising clients on strategic development, M&A transactions, financial feasibilities, and market assessments across various sectors. This experience honed his ability to analyze complex financial situations and develop effective recommendations tailored to specific client needs.

Qasem holds an International MBA with a concentration in finance from IE Business School in Madrid, where he actively participated in courses on impact investing, sustainable finance, and entrepreneurship. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in finance. Qasem is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and has obtained certifications in private equity and venture capital, sustainability, and finance of climate change, among others.
