Ammardito Shafaat is a Junior Analyst at CPI, based in Jakarta. He specializes in sustainable finance, environmental and social risk management, and renewable energy.

Prior to joining CPI, Ammar worked as a Consulting Senior Associate at ERM Indonesia, where he was part of the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) division. His primary focus was conducting Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) on major infrastructure projects, assessing them against international standards such as the IFC Performance Standards and the Equator Principles for multinational financial institutions. Additionally, he contributed to various sustainable finance initiatives, including developing Second Party Opinion (SPO) reports for Sustainable Finance Instruments, conducting capacity-building programs for financial institutions, and assisting in the creation of Environmental and Social Risk Management Guidelines for central banks.

Ammar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology. Beyond his professional work, he is actively involved in environmental advocacy, having volunteered with several NGOs. Most recently, he contributed to CarbonEthics, an organization dedicated to conserving blue carbon ecosystems.
