Janice is an Analyst at CPI, based in London. She is part of the ClimateShot Investor Coalition (CLIC) team, where she works on the CLIC Connector, which focuses on scaling investments in climate and nature in agrifood systems in developing countries. She supports the Connector to conduct nature and climate risk and impact (RIA) assessments for SMEs, consolidate technical RIA methodologies, and drive the adoption of CLIC’s impact assessment framework for agrifood systems.

Janice brings a diverse educational background in environmental management and agriculture, along with extensive professional experience in across the agrifood value chain. Before joining CPI, she was an Analytics Product Manager at Agreed Earth, a climate ag-tech company born out of the first cohort of Carbon13, a venture builder focused on global emissions reduction. She led the development of data products that quantified and geolocated risks of agricultural pollution, as well as assessed the impact of sustainable farming practices used by corporates and farmers across the UK.

Prior to her role at Agreed Earth, Janice was the Lead Strategy Analyst at HelloFresh UK, where she conducted strategic market, revenue and product analyses, uncovering growth opportunities for the global meal-kit leader.

Janice holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management and Technology from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a Master’s degree in Urban Agriculture and Green Cities from UniLaSalle Rouen in France. She has also conducted agriculture-related research in Los Angeles and Denmark.
