Kalpesh Gada is an Advisor at CPI’s Delhi office, where he supports the India team in deepening CPI’s engagement with the financial sector ecosystem and other partner non-profit institutions, research organizations, and academia.

In addition to his role at CPI, Kalpesh advises ADB on structuring credit enhancements for microfinance bonds and securitization and is a member of the Investment Committee of Vivriti Asset Management, an Indian Performing Credit focused asset manager. He has advised various commercial and development Financial Institutions on structured debt strategy, credit risk analysis, and financial modeling. In 2021, Kalpesh co-authored an investment landscape report on Early-stage Climate-tech Start-ups in India, published by the Impact Investors’ Council.

Prior to CPI, Kalpesh led the Structured Finance Rating team at ICRA and was also a member of ICRA’s Rating Committee. He represented ICRA on several working groups and committees of RBI, SEBI, and NHB. Kalpesh started his career with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI).

Kalpesh holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s in Commerce both from Mumbai University, apart from being a Cost & Works Accountant. Kalpesh works remotely from Mumbai, India.
