Kapil Gupta is a Senior Analyst at CPI’s Delhi office, where he focuses on Decarbonization of the Power, Mobility and Hard to abate sectors. His key responsibilities include establishing credible solutions and policies needed to address critical issues related to energy transition in India. He comes with eleven years of rich experience in the energy ,mobility and power sector.

Prior to CPI, Kapil Gupta worked at JMK Research and Analytics, NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN), Azure Power India, and India Power Corporation Limited (IPCL) and has a functional exposure spread across Business consulting ,Sales & Business Development, and Project Management.

Kapil holds a Master’s in business administration and Bachelors of Technology in Power Engineering from the National Power Training Institute (NPTI).
