Luiza Antonaccio is a Senior Legal Analyst at CPI/PUC-Rio, working in the Climate Law and Governance program. She is currently developing legal and regulatory analysis on infrastructure projects in the Amazon, and also is researching about legal deforestation monitoring. 

She holds a master’s degree in Energy Planning from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPE/UFRJ), a postgraduate degree in Brazilian Environmental Law from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), and a LLB from FGV Direito Rio. 

Prior to joining CPI/PUC-Rio, she worked as a lawyer at Siqueira Castro Advogados and Baggio e Costa Filho, dealing mostly with the energy sector, and as a legal advisor to the attorney’s office at the Environmental Institute of Rio de Janeiro (Inea).
