Miguel Motta is an Analyst at CPI/PUC-Rio, focusing on the tracking of climate finance and development of related policies and instruments. He is moved by directing financial markets towards a sustainable growth, through research and policy recommendation. His dedication to the topic dates back from his undergraduate, when he researched the climate policies of development banks.
Miguel holds a B.A. degree in economics from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and a Distinction from the MSc Development Studies at SOAS, University of London.
Before joining CPI, Miguel worked as a Business Intelligence Coordinator at Ambev, specializing in data analysis, and was a Finance Analyst at Banco Maré, a Rio de Janeiro fintech promoting financial inclusion in urban communities.
