Ricardo Narvaez is a Senior Manager at CPI and the Finance Lead at the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance based in London. He has worked in finance in various capacities across Central America and the UK. His journey includes roles ranging from Corporate Credit Analyst to Deputy Fund Manager for organizations such as LAFISE, Latin American Agribusiness Development Corp, and the former boutique frontier market-focused investment bank, Exotix Capital.

Raised in Central America – Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica – Ricardo developed a keen interest in development from an early age. He completed studies in Finance and International Business at Concordia University in Montreal and holds a master’s degree in Energy, Trade, and Finance at Bayes Business School in London

In 2015, Ricardo founded his consultancy, Frontier Project Consulting Ltd (FPCL) a venture dedicated to supporting project developers with modeling and providing comprehensive capital-raising support. Since 2016, he has actively contributed to Climate Policy Initiative through the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance (The Lab) aspiring to make a positive impact on both financial innovation and sustainable development.
