Rosaly Byrd is a Manager at CPI, based in Rio de Janeiro. She currently leads CPI’s Innovative Finance Learnings, including managing the CC Facility Learning Hub. Rosaly previously managed the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance (the Lab), coordinating the Lab’s global processes and supporting analytical work on land use and sustainable agriculture financial instruments, both in Brazil and globally.

Prior to CPI, Rosaly worked for the UNDP World Centre for Sustainable Development (RIO+ Centre) where she worked on channeling climate finance into adaptive social protection programs; sustainable urbanization; and gender equity in climate-smart agriculture policies. Before this, she worked for the Inter-American Development Bank in Haiti, working on rural development projects related to sustainable land use and agroforestry in the country. Rosaly is the co-author of the book Sustainability Made Simple: Small Changes for Big Impact. She holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs with a focus on international environmental policy from the University of California, San Diego.
