Marcella Muse is a Program Associate at CPI based in San Francisco. She supports the Lab’s Program Management team by coordinating the development and launch of innovative climate finance instruments, engaging stakeholders, and supporting the Lab’s global program operations across its regional and thematic programs.
Before CPI, Marcella gained experience across multiple facets of climate action, including community solar, carbon accounting, and green jobs. Within climate finance, she has supported innovative financing mechanisms such as an emerging markets SME solar crowdfunding platform, a sustainable investing fund of funds, and a first-of-a-kind peatland restoration carbon credit project. Her work has involved operations, process improvement, stakeholder coordination, and strategic planning for climate tech startups and climate finance initiatives. Marcella holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of British Columbia and a CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.
