CPI’s Executive Director of Climate Finance, Dr. Barbara Buchner will participate in the following round table discussion at “Mainstreaming!,” a side event of the One Planet Summit organized by the French Government on December 12, 2017. Proposed by the International Development Finance Club and the Climate Action in Financial Institutions Initiative and Agence Française de Développement, this event will focus on the mobilization and integration of climate issues into financial institutions.

The discussion will focus on: mainstreaming climate change in financial institutions, and how to achieve it in practice; progress made since the launch of the five mainstreaming principles at COP21; climate mainstreaming in practice; and a moderated Q&A focusing on the impact of mainstreaming on financial institutions and their activities, and what has changed.
