O CPI colabora diretamente com o setor financeiro privado – gestores de ativos, proprietários de ativos, bancos, empresas e seguradoras – para estabelecer enquadramentos, aumentar a transparência e desenvolver novos modelos e instrumentos financeiros que acelerem a transição de fluxos financeiros globais para emissões líquidas nulas e desenvolvimento resiliente ao clima. A efetividade do nosso trabalho com o setor financeiro privado é reforçada pela capacidade do CPI trazer para a mesa atores-chave além do setor privado, assegurando abordagens coordenadas e de acordo mútuo que acelerem a adoção e implementação.

The lack of data on private adaptation finance creates significant uncertainty regarding progress on addressing climate vulnerabilities and leaves decision makers without critical information on where they should target additional investments. CPI has developed a methodological and data approach to improve tracking of private sector adaptation finance. These efforts have significantly increased the amount of private adaptation finance tracked.
