Randy Rakhmadi, CPI Indonesia’s Analyst, presented on ‘Energy Savings Insurance (ESI)’ at IEECCE held in Jakarta on May 10th, 2017. The ESI instrument is incubated and developed through The Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance (The Lab). The instrument has the potential to facilitate private investments in energy efficiency projects by allocating risks more efficiently and effectively among project stakeholders. ESI is currently being implemented in Mexico and Colombia.

IEECCE seeks to address and discuss various issues related to improving energy productivity and reducing and controlling carbon emission, amidst the challenges of increasing global demand for energy and the rapid depletion of non-renewable energy resources.
