On November 20th 2015, Climate Policy Initiative (CPI) and CICERO gave a webinar on how to scale up climate finance to meet developed countries’ commitment to mobilize $100 billion per year for climate action in developing countries by 2020.
The presenters discussed how different sources of climate finance had performed over the last five years as compared to expectations, current investment levels, and potential solutions to meet developed countries’ commitment to mobilize $100 billion per year for climate action in developing countries by 2020 and to move beyond it. Join us to learn more about the most promising avenues for scaling up long-term climate finance for developing countries, and recommendations for next steps to catalyze new investments. A 20-minute presentation was followed by an opportunity for participants to ask the presenters questions.
