Ira Yulianti Purnomo is an Analyst at Climate Policy Initiative, based in Jakarta, where her work focuses on mobilizing and leveraging investment in renewable energy and energy efficiency projects.
Prior to joining CPI, Ira worked as a Consultant at the Embassy of Denmark. In this role, she supported the G2G energy partnership program between Denmark and Indonesia to accelerate low-carbon development in various provinces across Indonesia. Additionally, Ira had worked on a hydropower project with MCAI grants, on renewable energy access consulting with Frankfurt School International Advisory Services, on financing biogas and mini hydro projects with UNEP and AFD, and on the design of microfinance energy solutions for developing countries with MicroEnergy International GmbH in Berlin.
Ira holds a joint MS degree in Management and Engineering in Environment and Energy from KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), IMT Atlantique (France) and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain) with an Erasmus Mundus scholarship.
