Khalifa Akbar is a Junior Analyst at CPI, based in Jakarta. His work focuses on renewable energy finance, just energy transition, and energy efficiency projects in Indonesia. Before joining CPI, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Indonesia as an associate consultant in Deals Advisory/Transaction Service division, where he dealt with both buy-side and sell side M&A transactions across various industries such as banking, multi-finance, asset management, oil and gas, and pharmaceutical. Prior to PwC, Khalifa was an intern at M&A Financial Advisory Service Deloitte Australia, Central Bank of Indonesia, and consulting firms such as Accenture, and Bain & Company.
Khalifa holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of New South Wales Australia, where he was also a postgraduate teaching assistant and a research analyst intern. Prior to his postgraduate studies, he received a double-degree (bachelor) in Accounting and Commerce from Universitas Indonesia and University of Queensland Australia.
