Malini Chakravarty is a Research Manager at CPI, based in New Delhi, India. Malini has more than two decades of experience in research and teaching. She has worked in public finance, multilateral climate finance, social protection, and international trade. Malini works on Just Transition and Green Finance work-streams, with a focus on Public Finance, contributing to the Centre for Sustainable Finance, and leading on developing and publishing research work through various teams.
She has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and media outlets. Malini has also collaborated in book chapters. After completing her Master’s in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, she got her M.Phil. degree from the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi. Before joining CPI, Malini was the Thematic Lead – Tax Equity at the Centre for Budget and Governance Accountability (CBGA).
