Sudharshan is a Consultant at Climate Policy Initiative India, where he focuses on policy measures and innovative financing solutions to enable transition towards sustainable transportation. His expertise lies in the automotive manufacturing industry, electric mobility, and supply chain management. He has eight years of experience in the automotive industry, especially in supplier sourcing, supplier development and supply-chain management.

During his tenure with Hyundai Motor India Limited, he played an effective role in developing emission control components and in the smooth transition of the supply chain to a more stringent emission regulations regime. He also worked as a consultant with The Quantum Hub, a new-Delhi based policy research firm. He worked on projects focusing on the intersection of gender with various sectors like manufacturing, agriculture, WASH, and tourism. He also worked on a policy landscaping exercise of the Indian Chemical industry and analyzed the impact of policies, such as anti-dumping duties, free-trade agreements, and production-linked incentive schemes.

Sudharshan holds a bachelor’s degree in Automobile engineering from Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai and completed the Executive Program in Public Policy and Management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
